Lol my buddy and I were discussing how to build a frame and attach a swivel boat seat on top so you can sit on top and spot for moose, I said we needed to put a seatbelt system on it so when we are driving real slow down trails with 7 ft brush on the side some one can sit up there and see over it. He said that a good idea but who the hell can we get to sit up there while it's moving....I said my 22 year son would probable do it....I ask when I got home and he looked at me like I was nuts and said "Maybe 6-7 years ago I might have been that dumb"

That is really not a bad idea at all for moose spotting! And as far sitting in it as you make your way thru the brush.... I think it would be worth it for a little bit of meat in the freezer. I call debs!

Shoot the seat idea is a good idea for hunting and glassing period. I've coyote hunted a lot from sitting on my jeep roll bars.

just weld some tube pipe up in a V (and brace) to a steal plate and mount your seat to the plate. the bottom parts of the tube cut it out to a semi circle ( the size of your roll bar) so that it just slips down on and wedges in. brace one or two across the back for ladder and foot rest and ratchet strap down., sit and hunt! when you are down you can take it down to clear trees. rubber strips to keep your roll bars from chafing.

I was thinking aircraft grade aluminum I-beams and and a steel plate with a lightweight folding boat seat to keep the size and weight down since we sometimes have to pack everything for 8-10 days on the machines and trailer and go 40-50 miles before we get to our camping spot. You could use wing nuts to attach it all together so it could be disassembled for easy packing on the machines for travel. Think it will be a winter project for me since this time of year is crazy busy for me. Once I get it done I'll post pictures.

Somehow I don't think this use probably crossed a Honda engineers mind when they were designing the Pioneers.

But it'd be funny if it they had an office pool of "unintended uses" and you just won someone $100.
