Rumor: Honda Produces Twin Cylinder Pioneer

Is Honda finally stepping up to the plate and reclaiming the market as there's?

HondaSxS.com has obtained documents that reveal a Game Changer for the HondaSxS line. These documents show that Honda is in fact working on a parallel twin cylinder motor for the claimed Pioneer 1100! [img1=http://hondasxs.com/-t2122.html]http://hondasxs.com/resources/image/2345[/img1]
Taking a look at the layout of the motor placement and comparing that to the current 700 layout you will notice it could be easley done with only minor changes to the frame structure.

Hopefully it want be long before Honda is back in the game big time.

Buyers remorse on my part, I want the 1100.

Why? Because it's bigger displacement than anything else and a Honda.

Now..... How do we convince them to make a line of fullSize trucks????

Hopefully soon. I'm looking for a 4 seater now and tempted to go with a teryx. I'm also curious on what Yamaha is coming out with tomorrow.

Was there any width dimensions with the diagrams? I was wondering how wide it was because it shows 3 people in the front.

@Dick, Yes 3 seat up front. There is no mention of dimensions or actual cc size.

No link. At this time.... Only pictures. I may have to send my buddies a thank you (Hint.. hint... send me the full patents) package...LOL.

They claim patents are from within Honda R&D. Claiming they were from a 2012l2013 design and further confirming good things to come from Honda.

Lots of info coming out.... Too much to release at one time.

my district sales mgr told me we would see a new pioneer in feb. he also said I will need to increase my floor plans limits because this was a premium level vehicle. he also said the vehicle wasn't produced in south caroilna. if I hear anymore news I will send updates..

Heard a tidbit from my sales guy at the local Honda PowerSports dealership.....word got to him that there was a Rzr in the R&D shop being torn apart. Reverse Engineering possibly?

Hmmm... Guess I will wait on buying a Teryx 4. Pioneer 700-4 just didn't cut it for me.

Loving all of these rumors and patent drawings. I'm really hoping that more information leaks and we see a few more models added to the Honda lineup soon. I haven't pulled the trigger yet on a Pioneer 700, mainly because i'm hoping for a 5-6 passenger model with low range, more power, and an unlocking rear diff... perhaps this will end up being the model i'm looking for. I just hope the price doesn't inflate to the cost of a jeep lol.

Another tidbit of news here.

My guys at the local Powersports shop confirmed a Honda release date coming in May! That came from a higher up from out of their store.

What they thought was coming, but unconfirmed was a 1000CC inline twin, 5 speed dual clutch transmission, low end gear, Pioneer.

Looks like I'm holding off on upgrading the suspension on my P4 and saving up for the new model!
