P1000 Runs rough, shift lever hangs up

In the last month my 2016 1000-3 has twice ran very rough when started, then the shift lever seems to "hang up" when trying to shift. I shut it off and restart it and everything is groovy.

My 18 has pulled the 'running rough' a time or 2 also.

Mine was 18, new and pretty smooth. Married 51 years now, runs rough regular like.
