2017 "Camo" if that makes a difference lol, bought in April with only 394 km on it from the dealership with a 1 yr warranty..
3 oil changes later decided to check the brake as i was hearing very faint squealing noises thought maybe bearings or brake, rock, twigs, mud, dirt, crap whatever.....Anyways

So 3200 KM or 1988 miles and this is what i found on both front brakes inside pads, wore down to the wear indicator...

So now Saturday july/13/2019 was suppose to go on a big run so i ordered a full complete set of brake pads.I'll do the rear another time the 2 arrows are not matching up so should be good there..
Problem is won't get them till next week so what I did just to run on Saturday is Dremel the wear indicator down just an 1/8 enough so i won't hear that little squeal like whistle sound...
Who knows might be good for another 500 KM till i hear that squeal again or till the Pads come in...

I know some might have some Negative or Positive thoughts about ordering Aftermarket parts, but for the riding i do and didn't want to ditch out $170 CDN for Honda OEM Brake pads,so i ordered a set of NICHE brake pads were only $58 + shipping " Complete Set F & R " Ya i know cheap EH....
Will see how long they last and will update this thread in the process...

2000 miles seems absolutely crazy to me for a set of pads to last but I'm new to pioneers.

OEM set on my can am outlander lasted 120 miles.

I'd say 2000 miles is doing pretty good. I sold my last p1k with about 1700 miles and they were just starting to squeak.

I also kinda cheated on these pads some may say No No but i say more pad wear.....I notice that the wear indicator was a little high so naturally a cut it down to get some extra pad wear. What I'll do is just keep monitoring it to see if they'll last just as long Stock Honda pads which for was like 3208 Km and gives more time between servicing..

Took it out for 30 KM run everything seems fine. Will see in the long term test...

My P5 just turned 2000 miles today and I haven’t even looked at the brakes. It still stops. Excuse the dust.
It's easy to check remove front wheel and the pads are visible through the caliper..I guess it all depends on how we drive and where Go.
