I have a 2015 P500 fairly low hour machine. The paddle shifters went from intermittently working to not working.
At first it would only downshift, then graduated to no shift. A few times it would randomly upshift.
I've pretty thoroughly looked for mouse eaten or rubbed wires, and didn't find anything suspect.

Battery is strong.
It shifts no problems with the tool.
I believe it's getting an error code 22. I don't know what the refers to.
I tried removing battery cables and touching them together. Didn't help.
I tool the shifter motor apart and cleaned brushes and contact.

I took off the shift motor. I tested both wires that connect to it for voltage. With the key on they get 4.4 volts. If I actuate either shifter, I get no change in voltage.

Is there a way to bench test the shift motor?
What voltage testing can I do on the harness?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

So I'm not sure what happened, but I put everything back together and it's somehow working. I drove around and did plenty of shifting with no problems. I hate when things fix themselves.

If both don't work, it isn't this; I broke one of the switch's actuating levers on my Talon -

Haven't seen mention of a clutch adjustment? That would be my first check before any of that other stuff.
This first ^^^^^^, especially with a low mile machine. I had to replace a shift motor for a similar issue but that machine had a lot more hours/miles on it.

really need pics - love sxs porn
should be able to test the shift motor with the battery
for the harness - its just basic point to point continuity check and wiggle while you probe

my hunch would be a bad connection\dirty shift motor\glazed commutator

not sure it fixed itself since you did maintenance on the circuit\shift motor
