Does anyone have the Seizmik upper doors installed on their Pioneer 1000 3P? I am looking for the best upper door option for the money and liked the looks of the Seizmik. I wanted to get some reviews though before I spent the money. If anyone has any experience with them, I would definitely appreciate hearing your opinion on them.

I think they are a great design but just not for my riding conditions. You being in Kansas, these could be the best option. Me being in Upstate New York with thick brush and tight trees I couldn't go with them because of that hinge that sticks out. It would certainly get ripped off the first tree I touch up against where I ride. Other than that I love them and if you ride in open areas, I would certainly recommend based on my research.

If not for the hinge they have a good design

They explain the theory behind the hinge well and it is why it is a far superior design over the OEM Honda upper door. Maybe if someone came up with a protective bump stop that attaches to the lower windshield ROPS so that hinge stays protected. I mean it's screwed into plastic pieces, right? I want to believe.

Those really are good looking. Do you know if the hing sticks out past everything else on the Pioneer?

My mirrors stick out further than those hinges but they are not solid they are break away!

Oh the mirrors sure, that makes sense but I was thinking more of the fender flares, tires or anything else on the body that may be past them.

From the video it appears that the upper door hinge is directly in line with those on the door. I think that with the right precautions you would be fine!

For the record I am thinking hard on these, but that full enclosure from CEC enclosures is tempting!

Yep, I think you’re right about that. I think I can take those necessary precautions. I’ve looked at the CEC but they seem not to look as good as Seizmik from what I can see, do you think so??

Thanks for the info. I really appreciate it. Most of my riding in cold weather is pretty open, but I do end up in the trees and brushy areas some when I’m getting to hunting spots. I may just have to either clear the trails some or be darn careful.

Based on my smashing through thick woods, those would be cool until you started hitting 4-6 inch tress Catastrophic after 12 inches.

The CEC is a soft enclosure using zippers snaps and from their videos looks to be very durable! They tow a UTV down the highway about 70 mph and it holds up well. But I do like the seizmik front upper doors!

I have the CEC and love how they seal but wish I could run the Seizmik for convenience.

I can't run mirrors either. I wish I could
I did see a pic where someone had mirrors on a seizmik full enclosure. They simply added a hole for the bolt. Probably added rigidity as well.
