Looking for ideas for storage in the Talon?

I have bought and returned several different storage boxes and tool box combinations. Finally found a decent setup for me but always looking for better ideas.

I ended up with a cheap Contico storage locker and cooler from Walmart. While the storage locker isnt the best quality and a little flimsy, it does fit awesome. Also found a 30 can cooler that fits nicely inside the box and leaves plenty of room for tools, recovery gear, etc. I used it over the weekend with straps holding it down but plan to mount it more permanently. It was a nuisance taking the straps on and off every time I needed a beverage.

Couldn't ask for a better fitting box.

Rubbermaid makes some really sturdy stuff but they are darrrnnnnn proud of it anymore $$$

35 gal looks to be too wide. 25 would fit with extra room.

Jeep guys and popo guys are using the HD Ridgid boxes in various configurations they are water tight and fairly cheap. You can sort your stuff for easy access. I had a actionpacker and everything kept getting crushed (food) or muddy and I had to unstrap it every time.

I used the Ridgid on my 500 and love them. Couldn’t get a combination to fit in the talon that I liked.

had a similar box on my quads for years they had a coleman tall for bottles hard cooler, soft ones leak seems like but same deal way allways destroying my food especially riding fast. got a soft atv fender bag and those don't ruin the chips and food and when I went to the utv I put it on the back of the rollbar

I don't know if this would fit in the back of the Talon , but it looks like a nice box.

I used the Ridgid I my 500 and love them. Couldn’t get a combination to fit in the talon.

Dang I was hoping I could configure something. Really like to use them interchangeably between the two machines.

I have seen then stood up like books in a custom rack too.

This tusk modular is what I use on my talon x....fits 3 of the 4 D-rings but can only fit one of the coolers not both, the coolers on it doesn't hold ice like a yeti but good enough for the day and can carry lots of gear, tools and recovery equip

Thanks for sharing. Is that a 23 gallon? I didn't find that at my local store, so I was looking on Amazon. This is about as close as I can find.

That is same one but it’s not worth $40. I would check other Walmart’s for $18.

We all used these for our pioneers,got them from Walmart. They will not take much abuse, because they are pretty flimsy, but it’s worth the $18

I'm using the same box I bought for two utv units back. It's a pretty good fit, nothing fancy. Wish it was hinged, but it opens easy and snaps closed securely. 25 bucks from sheels or fleet farm.

I'm anxious to see how you mount it without straps. It looks like it fits perfect.
