I just ordered some new all the way around filters for the 500 and 1000-5, the Kubota B7800, RTV-900 and the Yanmar Vio 35.

Bingo. The reason this happening, is people are, generally, cheapskates. If there are two widgets sitting side by side on the shelf at Walmart, one made cheaply in China with cheap labor, one better quality widget made in America by American workers, 90% of the people will buy the cheap one. In our plumbing and electrical wholesale business, we try our best to buy and sell products made in America. Sometimes it's impossible. Example: LED lighting. I would wager to say 95% + of all LED bulbs and fixtures are made in China. It really gripes my ass that people are so damned cheap, they are willing to jeopardize their safety and well being because they think they are saving a dollar, not realizing their job might be the next one outsourced overseas.
