I have a dumb question, is that the way the instructions said to mount the reservoir and route the bradded line. The instruction that came with mine had me route the line towards the center of the machine?
Looks at it closely and see if you can turn the top of the shock 180, you will have a lot more protection that way? Did your reservoirs come with rubber cradles to mount to frame? If not I would come up with something between the frame and reservoir and don't tighten the clamps too tight, you can ruin the adjustably of the reservoir. What kind of shocks are they?I got no instructions
Just unclamp your reservoirs remove top shock bolt and rotate the top of the shock. No rubber anywhere. I’ll have to remove both & reverse them.
Looks great! Just trying to help my Flea buddies out! HA!Chooglin came up with these clamps for the reservoirs, can't find the link though. The first pic is how he mounted his, I wanted a little more protection and went inside the frame. It's like they were made for this, bolt right up, fit great and can easily access the adjustment knob.

All good installs, but I like the second picture install the best? Which one works the best for you?Chooglin came up with these clamps for the reservoirs, can't find the link though. Much better, I would still put some rubber between the frame and the reservoir and take a hammer to the SS clamp to make sharp corners at the frame edges, looks good!
You find out where he got them? The second and third pics are my machine, each side actually. Both are tucked inside the frame so they're somewhat protected. I just didn't like the idea of the hose clamps that were supplied with the shocks. They'd probably work fine but the clamps that Chooglin found just seemed a much better option and they weren't that expensive. Bolted up to existing holes, rubber sleeves inside the clamp and allowed for them to sit a little lower for access to the adjustment knob.

Which way did you settle on? I'm ole fashioned I keep a file in my office drawer for every thing I have bought for Rooster. I ordered new graphics from Walter and a vent kit from Ross, finally.I looked all over, even in my purchase history and can't find them. 🤷♂️ Some are set up for horizontal mounting and some for vertical, ordered the wrong ones initially if I remember right.

Did you end up horizontal or vertical? I had an idea and Walter hit it outta the park, good guy, he's my brother, ya know, his Dad adopted me on a ride we were on, HA!To use the existing holes in the frame you have to use the ones pictured. Couldn't begin to tell you how much I've ordered from Walter...a lot!
