This road looked like it went forever but - 1. I couldn't see anything interesting, as far as I could see. 2. It had rained all day the day before and this is that greasy, duck poop betonite soil. 3. Talon's don't have very good 'fenders' even with Rokblokz, so I took a pass.
There's a 'famous' 'geyser' in the area, these property owners have had it 'up to here' with tourists -
... it ain't this way, keep the F out -
Middle of the desert, no effin' clue -
The distances out here are yuge, bring fuel -
These sandstone cliffs draw me like a moth to the flame -😍 Not many in this area tho -
The chickensh!t federal gubmint closed 300 miles of trails in Utah, just cuz they could. This closure was in the middle of nowhere, I doubt it saw 100 vehicles a year. I have no idea why. And that's why I hate the feds -
This is the closure from the other end.
The two black waypoints show where the trail is closed. It was open when I rode it last year -
The closed section is in the red oval. I wish that I could show y'all how remote this is. The area is underutilized and the effin' feds shut it down for no reason.
I also think the twisty blue track above the red oval got closed too, for no reason, equally remote with very low traffic. Maybe our real President will find time to undo this travesty - keep the feds out of Utah. Sorry about the political content but they're coming for us.
Another randomly closed trail in the same area. I had ridden this a year ago -
The closed trail is in the red circle, looking toward the NE. It's the access to the twisty blue trail that I think also got closed, mentioned above.
