Visited friends in Arkansas, decided I wanted to drive the Gulf Coast again before He comes for me -

East to west, finally got to Brownsville, Tejas tonite; fron Tallahassee, Florida. And lemme tell ya whut - It's a whole lot farther than it looks on a 10" iPad screen -

Usually there is more. Snowpack is very low this year. Lakes are low. Might be a drought year.

I’ve been there a few times myself. The imprints from the mules pulling the wagons are remarkable as they repeatedly stepped in the same tracks.

One of my favorite places to ride...

...so much so that I head over to that area more often than not. Rarely see anyone outside of hunting season.

The are some neat rock formations at the lower end of Hackberry Creek east of Superior. Getting down to this view requires following a really rough creek bottom for about 1.3 miles, but it’s worth it.

Some of the guys on the ride asked the same question and the answer was sort of, but not too close. I’ve never been to Devils Canyon myself.

We started at the Superior airport and went south ending up back on 177 for a while and turned off to the north on trail 315. At some point we turned off to the north again before getting to Oak Creek (the jeep group guys that were with us on SxS’s said that Oak Creek would be miserable for us). We ended up coming out on the paved road east of Resolution Copper’s head frame and followed it ‘til we got to U.S. 60. Went directly across 60 and ended up making a big counter clockwise loop back to the airport.

Beautiful area up there. It’s too bad the majority of the trails aren’t a little more challenging. I remember camping near Hannigans meadow with the family in July early 70’s and had ice hanging from the roof of the tent in the morning It has changed alot since the Wallow fire. I did stumble...

Yes, those trails up there suck donkey dick. It is my least favorite trail to ride. Only really been twice. The other time...

You would think I'm strange I don't mind how dirty it gets but when I done I gets wash by hand top bottom everything . Bleach white for tires , car soap S C 1 when done . I'm not happy till it looks like it never happened. You could see it nasty one day and the next think it was never rode. I...

When you crossed 60, did you take the loop by the substationnand eventually the old mine on the backside of the mountain, and then come out near the bottom of Montana mtn loop? I like that trail pretty good.
