It's shots from a trail...

We got a good dump of snow a few days ago but it's melting fast, runoff was everywhere, even at 8,000 feet.

After summer like temperatures last weekend, the weather here changed for the worse and it's downright cold (by AZ standards) with the rain moving through.
It's cool enough that getting wet would be terribly uncomfortable, so with all the rain, I had to deploy my experimental soft cab. I got the idea from some guys back East running clear plastic shower curtains as back glass.
I'm actually very surprised at how well this works, so obviously I need to refine it and buy four separate curtains and trim them up to fit. As is, I need to trim the excess zip tie off so it doesn't look ghetto 🙄...

At around 3:00 or so I was just about ready to call a day. It was cold and raining and damp, and I wasn't particularly warm.
I wanted to go down to the bottom of this specific wash I was in, and from that point, my intent was to head back to the truck. I discovered a cool rock rock structure, and in the process of climbing up the gentle grade the engine got nice and warm and started putting off some heat and I became fairly comfortable again, so it was game on...
So away I went, and hit one of my old favorites, the "rail trail". A few miles in the sun came out and I actually folded my ghetto soft top back across the cab. I've never run a full windshield, and while the experience was nice in that I was able to warm up on a cool day, I just don't like being isolated from nature. So off it came. And predictably, a few miles later it started to rain again...
Looks like the peaks up around Superior got snow...
