I lowered it almost 2" after putting the 35s on to get the CG lower for big climbs and to try and keep the front from pushing off so much. It hurt and helped at the same time. Way less push off than before but at the expense of ground clearance. Next time I go there I'm going to raise the ride height back up and see where that gets me.

I also need to build a cage for that thing sooner than later. Stock one is fine for flops but I'm not sure it's backflip and roll down a big ass hill rated.
have you replaced your springs? It did not look like it in the pics. The rollcage will hold up better than you think. I still would not want to do a backflip but i can testify to a barrel roll or 4.5 down a hill over a log ... the A pilar will collapse in some but the B pilar held strong

I still run the stock springs, mine haven't sagged yet.

Update on the Talon time!

The engine is finished and ready to be picked up. I'm going to attempt to go get it at the beginning of next week if I can do it in between Dr and PT appointments. I had knee surgery March 7th and am still hobbling around.

And I also got my hands on one of the newly released Yawpower coil on plug kits that really wake up the weak spark these Talons have. Tracking says those will be here tomorrow.

These are not direct bolt on and require programming to get the new coils to play nice with the coil drivers in the ecu. They have more info on their website on how to do it with the dynojet and PPEI can supply tunes with those mods installed if you wanted to go that route. THESE DO NOT FIT TURBO CARS, but Yawpower is working on brackets to make them fit and will release them in the near future.

Looks awesome!!!! Hope your knee gets healed up and listen to the docs - been there with a separated acl!!!!!

Must ask - what’s the plan for the air filtration on the “motor of death”?

I'm going to see if my buddy is available this week to help me get the engine installed so I can get it over to PPEI for dyno tuning once its done. And that just reminded me that I have to reinstall the Dyno Jet dual wide band module and 02 sensors before I bring it up there. I pull all that stuff out of the car once it's tuned so I'm not carrying extra weight and not restricting header flow with the 02 sensors hanging down into the pipes.

You have a prediction on HP/torque or keeping it tight to the vest?

Nobody has dyno'd this exact combo yet so I don't even have the slightest clue. My numbers are also going to be lower because my car is full time 4wd and I'll be spinning the whole front driveline on the hub dyno. It's not worth the hassle to pull the front driveshaft out of the car for the dyno session just to pad the numbers.

I'll go with 125hp to the wheels as my guess.
