What tires for snow? my stock Bighorns are packing up like slicks, not cleaning out, and getting me stuck. Any opinions on a 8 ply tire that will clean out the snow?

Go to some tire sites and see what they are designed for, think the Black Waters clean out, but I know you don't like them, probably be a big wide luged tire that clean out easier and have a bad ride on smooth surfaces. Let us know your decision and satisfaction of choice, looking for different tires as well. My Black Waters have 2,500 miles and I can tell, starting to skate on down hill gravel and slick mud.

Blackwaters have a kinda similar tread pattern to BH. Wonder if they’d clean out???

I have ridden several hundred miles on snow and ice with my Quadboss tires. They are pretty good in snow. Definitely better on ice than stock bighorns .

Seems to me that an aggressive mud tire with deep, wide spaced lugs would do well for snow, but what do I know, I never ride in snow ....... lol

I agree, I’m leaning that direction. I have a message in to RMATV to see what they claim their best snow tire is.

The 28's should fit. Let me know how they work. I need 30 X 7 X 14's.
Yep, 28 is what I’ll go to. Not certain I’ll get those though. I’m waiting for a response from RMATV and other posters that ride snow, like 10-12”

They should and have a bigger block lug, should ride better on smooth surfaces. I'll probably go back with some Black Waters. 0 flats and you know how I motivate, point A to point B, straight as possible quickly. And 2,500 miles. How many months of snow you ride? We'll talk at TP.

Those look like a great all around tire, but I can’t imagine that they’d clean out....???

I’m not going to care about smooth surfaces. I can swap out my DOT tensor regulators for those times.

Black Waters is what I'm replacing my worn out Black Waters with, if they clean out well with sticky mud, snow won't be an issue, unless you are pushing to much snow!

Thank you. You’re in big snow country, what are you running? This tire from your list is available in a 12 ply!!!

I only have two sets the Bighorns and the Terrabites and the Bighorns outperformed the Terrabites.

You know the best snow-tires are actually not tires at all but tracks! Lol.

They would clean out better than your Motto Hammers or Tensor Regulators, just saying
