Homemade cab for the Pioneer Build & Completed
Went and saw him last night. He said he could do it. It will cost around $300, but that could change depending how it goes. He's a really nice guy and I've seen his work. I'm not going to do anything right away, money's a bit tight right now. I will definitely post info whenever I get around to having the doors made. Can you post pics and may be ask him how much he would ask for them?
How good they fit depends somewhat on who installs them, as there is a fair amount of adjustment.
I don't believe he has ever worked on a P500. This guy mainly does those vinyl boat covers. It's a nice heavy material that doesn't tear. He used snaps when he did my friends cab. He used a clear vinyl material for the windshield and windows and I really like it. It doesn't scratch like my windshield and it is optically better than my windshield. If It gets torn, he can just sew in a new section. I will know more about this once i actually show him my machine and hear what he wants to do.Could u plz post his windshield and roof? Any his work for p500?
The doors, what material he is going to use?

mine is pictured too. I have the honda soft top and honda windshield.
I have never liked soft cabs at all. I would not even be considering this type of soft doors, but my friend's cab on his 700 is really nice. It definitely holds in some heat. Sound insulation is noticeable, but I can't imagine that it's as good as a real cab. This vinyl material is definitely superior to the nylon/canvas that is typically used.Aha, I see, nice. Does this material retain heat well and sound isolation, or its mainly works as good wind and rain protection?
