Factory Viper synthetic and then two different brands from Amazon. Yes 1/4” and no snatching on any of them. I dont mind buying Amsteel if that’s the only one that won’t break

I’ve only ever used these... or very similar. And I’ve had good luck. Granted I’m not winching out of rooftop deep mud holes.

one thing I’ve noticed is this s*** would hardly cut with a pair of good scissors... I’ve bought others that seemed to just slice without any problem. I’m sure there is a difference in the material. So I would suggest maybe doing your own little scissor test on a few different ones and see what happens. Just cut a half inch off the very end and you’ll feel the difference in some of these.
