Hello everyone! I wanted to run by you guys my battery setup and what I’m doing for my stereo setup. My concern is if I have enough battery to do so. I’m not a stereo guru so hope someone can help.
I have a they Mighty Max second battery setup on my buggy with the iso switch.
I currently have the MTX Mudsys soundbar with 4 way Pioneer speakers I put in it. I yanked the mtx speakers out as they didn’t sound good.
I have bought the Kicker 8” subwoofer I’m going to install under driver seat and run rca cables from Rockville 2 ohm amp out of MTX Mudsys to the subwoofer. My question is will the mighty max battery be enough to drive everything. Currently it run my sound bar just fine. I do have light bars and winch but won’t be running those items with stereo on without the buggyrunning and charging.
The MTX Mudsys soundbar claims 280 watt RMS.
The Rockville Amp says 350 watt RMS.
I don’t know what all this means. 🤷‍♂️
Can someone help me and let me know if I have enough battery? I’ll post pictures of items below

To find out how long the battery will last you take all you stero watts and add them up (note you need to estmate since you are not using full power) then divide by 12volts to give you your total amps. Then take your calculated amps and divide by your battery amp hour rating to get run time. with your battery that would be 25. This does not take into account the Pioneer charging system.

Thank you!
So I can take 350+280=630RMS Watts. Say I only use half of those Watts when listening to radio I’m at 315.

315/12=26.25 Amps

26.25/25AH battery rating =1.05.
So 1.05 hours Listening to music without charging before battery is dead.
Does that look right?

Thanks.

But you don't want to use it till dead. It will quickly damage the battery. Doing a few times by accident is ok, but not how you should plan to draw it down. I would think 50-60% would be a safe draw down
