I haven't yet. I've rode my rig twice in the last couple weeks. I've been running around like a chicken with its head cut off lol

yeah I have, but might have missed something. Thanks, I'll look through it again.
Some of the people have had great success and others not so much but I had Xentec Hids in my 700 and loved them. I just looked up 881 hid kit 5000k on eBay. They are $26 and worked very well for us. I've got the 1000 now and nearly went to stocky headlights and kicked my factory led setup to the curb because of how much better my 700 hids were. Worked well for us. I swear by them For the money how can you go wrong? They are direct plug takes 15 minutes and you can return to stock with no damage. Make sure if you do you order slim as the ballast fits nicely in the factory housing

Sounds like a great alternative, wonder if those 881 HID's would work in a P500 the OEM headlights are sadly lacking.

I've been reading that they do but you have to use a supplied plug? They plug right in it's the same kit but the housing is smaller so someone said something about dinking with it a little to make them work. Can somebody who has done this on the 500 it explain better

I hate covering up any light but that does look sick!!
I agree with you about covering up lights, but they now make products which are transparent as opposed to translucent which would course dilusion or distortion. My solution to the headlight problem was to add lights and repurpose them for appearance
