Was considering the Tractor Supply box in your photo. I get on some rough roads and was concerned about how much the box would raise the center of gravity. I believe it weighs 40 lbs. have you noticed any increased tendency to tip over? Thanks....

That dude's probably never coming back but it's the same box I have. @100Acre has one on his too. It's a big box and does raise the COG, there's pics of the Giant Gnome on his side all over the forum. :D
But it holds a lot of sh**! Always dry and locked up too.

After flip flopping the 8 or so times, my locking mechanisms no longer work. When traveling on the trailer I use 2 locks and a chain to keep the lid secure. When trail riding I switch it to some bungee cords. Was thinking about replacing it but.....

This Tractor Supply box weighs 27 lbs, has a gasketed lid, and is lockable. It is very light for its size. It is the 48 inch model that measures 46.5 inches long. Installed using 3/4 inch rigid conduit clamps and 1/4 inch by 1 inch long carriage bolts. I marked the hole locations underneath using a cut down q-tip dipped in black paint held by pliers. I used 6 clamps total (Lowe’s electrical section)...2 on each end and 1 on each side toward the cab side...be sure you can get to them to tighten them. The clamps hold it very secure. I wasn’t able to get any washers on the nuts, but they are so tight I don’t think they will work loose. I used a small mirror to make sure the black paint spot was there before pulling the box and drilling the holes. See photos for more information.

Looks good @Bruce4795 , I thought about conduit clamps after I had used some u bolts lying around. I did buy some for future use and glad you provided feedback that they hold well.

I just installed some mud buster rear fender extensions and had to remount the box after they were installed. I was only able to install 4 clamps, 2 on each side, instead of The original 6 locations due to the wider fenders. 4 seem to be holding the box just fine.

Lowes use to sell 48" side mount tool boxes with the Kobalt name on them for $78. Probably the same manufacturer that makes the Better Built and other boxes. I looked online the other day and Lowes no longer sells the Kobalt brand boxes, just the Craftsman brand and they are $200 now.
