P1000 Super ATV a-arm guards?

So I installed a new set super Atv a-arms last week. My aluminum a-arm guards would not fit so I tried to find some online but had zero luck. Is everyone with the high clearance a-arms just not running guards??

BIG X on the A arm guards, pretty much worthless in my opinion.

SuperATV arms protect the boots with the arch. You'll likely be better off without them. With stock arms and a-arm guards, I ripped at least 5 boots (bent 7 a-arms too), in 3000 miles. With SuperATV arms front and rear I have not damaged a boot or a-arm in 2500 miles.

Knuckledeep custom makes arm guards for the SATV arms. I have a set. Unlike above, I tore a few boots without them. Its a love hate relationship with or without them.

That is an interesting company name! I'm a little scared to google them on my work computer....

No need for guards with our arms. Just beat the hell out of them. We'll replace them if you can bend one.

I was constantly cleaning mud and debris out of my A arm guards on rides to keep from ruining the boots? What's your secret to keep that from happening?
