I’ll take some photos of what I did when I get home. I used the 40mm holes no problem. The latch is tight and the seat back is firmly back on the tube but I don’t care.
If you take your tube and simply cut an arc on the rear part that ends at the current top dimension, the bars clear. For sure the seat back is tight and the latch is tight too as mine is today but it can be done.

This is the new design for the Seat Riser Cubes, passenger seat bolt covers. These will be available in a week or two with the passenger seat riser cube kit and with the complete seat riser cube kit.

This steel cover looks better than the taller OEM shape plastic covers. Plus we have been 3D printing the plastic covers in house for 2 years and those take 8 hours EACH to print! The OEM hex head bolts are replaced with 60mm long button head bolts with a smoother profile. The new bolts pass through the bolt cover, through the seat frame, through the seat riser cube and thread into the seat anchor tab. The OEM plastic rivets will be reused for the rear holes. Overall I like the look and fit and installation is still easy.

The plastic covers were the best design we could come up with 2 years ago. As with many things, iteration reveals better ideas later down the road. These covers are CNC cut and bent locally so within 2 weeks I can restock.

On my to-do list for 2025 is to design the driver seat riser rails with additional holes to go straight up, not only back. This will eliminate needing the seat riser cubes for the driver seat. Also part of this is to make one seat riser rail work for 2 and 4 seat Talons. This means probably using the 4 seat rail for both models, since it's the shorter of the two. This will reduce the variety of parts I have to maintain inventory, helping me financially and logistically. Of course this all hinges on how well I can make the parts work for both machines. And I'm certain this is months down the road anyway.
