And you would be...😉I'm so new to SxSs that my Talon has zero miles. That went from good to bad in a blink. I'd have thought after watching the first one motor right up that hill, that I'd be safe to follow.
OP happened in Missouri. HS ORV is ok if small. WPG is close to there and a better ride IMO.Where in Arkansas? I've been to Hot Springs ORV and rocked that place with a P500. Can't wait to get back that direction with my X4. I got the long wheel base just for what you were doing.
Maybe just get some aftermarket arched A-arms?
I have to know the story behind this!Since we’re showing wrecked TalonsView attachment 186467View attachment 186468View attachment 186469
Definitely not the angle I want to be looking at my skid plate
It was towards the end of a great ride. We were less than 5 minutes from the trail head. I went way too fast off an off camber jump at the top of a small rise at around 50 (it’s hard to tell with the crappy display. I drive it like a dirt bike by sound and feel through the gears. You’re going too slow if you have time to watch a speedo) and it kicked me sideways in the air. It was a tight trail with no room for forgiveness. I landed crossed up and punched it into a tree at full throttle. It was a strange angle as the tree went between the bumper and fender. It wasted both A arms, the tie rod, shock, knuckle, hub, axel, front diff and bent the frame along with the bumpers and metal skid plate. The broken ball joint machined out the inside of the rim getting it out. It still ran and would turn the drivers side front tire even with the axel out of the diff. The I4WD light came on when the fluid drained out but It didn’t keep the machine from moving as others have been concerned about. We winched and drove it out with a buddy holding the tire up. The Simpson D3 harnesses saved my butt for sure. I still can’t believe the plastics weren’t destroyed as hard as it hit. The tree was about 18” across. She’s all back together now with a new frame and some new upgrades. I recommend insurance. They cut me a check for 14K to cover the damage on a $600 - 12 month premium and $500 deductible. I’m guessing it’s going up when it’s time to renew.my policy.. These are the first pics all greased up when I got it backI have to know the story behind this!
any damage to the stock cage?
