It's my understanding the motor in the Talons are basically the Africa twin motor. Now that the Africa twin motor has bumped up to 1083 cc how soon till we see Talon 1100s? I want a 1100 R 4 turbo with live valve... come on Honda don't make us wait...

I’m not sure we’ll ever see larger than a 1000 cc due to California law.

That is why all the turbo 1000 models. Naturally aspirated 1000cc engines have basically reached their power limit.

U will not see the stroked motor oem, but we will see the engine builders doing it.

The Talon and Pioneer engines are similar to the Twin, but the top end it's pretty much where it ends.

IMO, Honda should've went after he BMW and dropped a 1200cc Twin. But we'll never see anything bigger than a 1000. You honestly dont need anymore, I mean we're approaching 200hp stock machines with turbos. Something 99% of the riders out there aren't using half of.

Polaris turbo is a 925cc engine, some call it a turbo 1000 but it is not. Can Am is a 900cc engine. If they would actually make a 1000 turbo there is more power there. Yes I know turbo kits for Yamaha and Honda but not really factory built.
