I completely agree that Colorado and Utah LEO likely wouldn’t know how it’s suppose to be, I just wanted ours to all be the same. How do you have yours?
Lower right on mini bike, ATV's, CT 90 and the Pioneer.

So your blue sticker is lower right and your white sticker is lower left….👍

Did you finish your little trailer lr, and are you towing it on the Rimrocker or is it just designed to be towed behind a motorcycle?

Note on our plate in lower right it has "IDPR REGISTRATION STICKER". Your older plate may not have that.

Correct, but there is a blue sticker, as lr has noted also, and a white sticker and neither of them indicate IDPR…..

I’ll have to check with my wife on that. But if you for sure received the white sticker from IDPR then that’s the answer and the white goes where you have it….👍

Did you finish your little trailer lr, and are you towing it on the Rimrocker or is it just designed to be towed behind a motorcycle?
It is essentially finished and tagged except for the seals on the doors. Lights are working as well but not sure We will need it. If I bring it I need to use my big trailer so I have room both the little trailer and the Pioneer but not sure it's necessary with a roof rack on the Pioneer and I could put a hitch box on the rear as well. Same problem you have...7x12 trailer is a lot easier than the big trailer to tow so I'll probably just use the Pioneer without the little trailer. The one I built is too heavy for my motorcycles to pull and it's set up to a 12' x 40" jon boat, kayaks, canoe or whatever but I don't need them on the RR trip.

Since Idaho has restricted camping due to fire danger I kinda lost interest in the little trailer. May still use it for a trip to MT lakes or southern ID waters in late Sep or Oct. Canada seems to be out of the picture this summer.

Still toying with a new snow machine for this winter...this retirement thing is exhausting and costly.

That’s cool. I’m sure the interest will return..
So do you have a roof mounted tent then?

No roof mounted tent.

However, I just left a tag vender who told me she had no idea why someone got a white and blue sticker. The blue sticker makes the plate valid for the year reflected on the blue sticker and yes...confirmed bottom right is correct but no one will care where it is located as long as it is a sticker for the current year...straight from the vendor lady's mouth.

Hope that helps!!

Any new news on the flags???
I was just visiting with Walter about this yesterday, he’s exceedingly busy, and I told him we’re a month out. He says he’ll have them ready, about $20.00 each.

The Ballpark is almost certainly out of the question for the first night, we’d have to be flying to make that happen, ditch the side trails, everyone would be rushed getting through Nucla, we’d be well towards the end of section 2 (there’s only 4 sections to the entire route) and still two full days of riding left.

We must consider a 12:00 noon rendezvous, time to get everything unloaded and secured, what we’re leaving at the parking area secured, and then for a best case scenario, nobody’s running late for any reason, we all manage to move out at 1:00 (which I consider very optimistic for the number of people/rides) we’ll have 5-5-1/2 hours of ride time before we stop to make camp.

It seems more realistic that we would camp at Columbine, or on the Roubideau Jeep trail or between Columbine and the point where we exit the NF onto the road into Nucla….?????

This would be a lot easier if we were together with the map laid out and all looking at it together……which we can do, but not until Saturday night August 28th or Sunday morning before moving to the rendezvous….😎👍
FYI
been following you guys since I was interested in this... I did half of it about 3 weeks ago..it’s 80 miles from staging to overlooking the highway and valley where the flume is..fuel worked out fine in Nucla and pump is card and 24/7... you can make really good time till well past Nucla....pretty much as fast as you are comfortable...~25mph seems to be “speed limit”.. staging area was empty when I was there...met VERY few vehicles. Did meet Montrose county sheriffs just past Nucla and they were super nice guys... have fun.
