Hey everyone. After putting the soft upper doors on for our last ride we noticed a lot of air coming over the top of the superatv flip up windshield. Here is my fix. Took cardboard and made a template. Used 1 1/2 inch insulation board. Scribed matching line to the front edge 2 inches in and cut with sawzall. Fit between window and roof then used hand drywall saw to make better fit. Took four 6 inch by 1/4 carriage bolts and bent the heads slightly. Drilled holes thru board then cut bolts of accordingly. Drilled holes thru roof. Forgot to mention also countersinked holes for 1/4 inch washers on window side of insulation board. With the bends in the bolts you need to detach the upper part of the windshield to assemble. Bolted on and used black permarex to seal front edge because it's stays flexible. Windshield still flips up with no problem. Here's some pics. Took it for a ride and works good. Should also stop water from blowing up the underside of the roof when raining. This is actually the second one I made. Tried painting first one black and had some sort of chemical reaction. Kinda ruined the insulation board.
