Ok I have a dumb question. I have a 63x120 Aluma trailer that I use to haul mine. Do you guys use the tow/haul mode when you guys pull yours? Not very familiar with all the towing techniques and tricks. Thanks for any input.

Ram 1500 5.7. I guess I haven’t because I didn’t think it was that much weight back there, but wasn’t quite sure. Kinda new to the towing thing. I know my parents always use to pulling a horse trailer but not sure on this one.

Put it in drive and go.... You are likely pulling 2000-2500 lbs total, trailer is likely 1000 lbs and the unit is 1000 and if you round it up to 2500 lbs total with gear that is absolutely nothing to worry about in terms of pulling it.

Once you start getting 3500-5000 lbs you will likely want to switch it and when getting into the 5000 lb range you then want to invest in some kind of brakes on the trailer, so you can whoa that load.......

Keeps it from kicking in and out of OD, won't shift gears until higher rpm either. It keeps morons from burning up their transmission. It will kill your gas mileage though.
