I found this stick jammed in the wheel well after yesterday's ride.

Judging by the skid marks, it looks like it could have punched thru the floor. There's an impact mark on the UHMW where it hit. I'd like to think it saved the floor and possibly @ohanacreek legs!

That's what the sound was....

I was riding the other day with Ohanacreek and one of my friends named Jonathan Payne.

There were several occasions where we were rubbing up against trees in tight turns and Jonathan recommended some UHMW skid plates on the roof.

So, I call these Payne Strips. Super cheap and easy to install. They should keep the factory hardtop from wrinkling anymore than it already has.

Awesome!! I really like that idea! Did you run those into the rops?

Here's a Trail Armor update. I have broke my second piece of UHMW from them. They replaced it free of charge last time. Hopefully they will this time. It breaks at the joint where they've thinned it to overlap.

I put a piece of 3/16 aluminum behind each joint on mine but they weren't thinned to overlap. Not sure if it'd help?

Between the 30 inch Roctanes, extra weight from all the accessories, and now the added power, I guess I'll find out just how strong these clutches are. I actually think that 1500 miles with the abuse that I've put on them, they're actually not that bad.

I'd actually considered making some mini rock sliders for the top of the rops but I like this much better. Great idea!

I wish there was an autotune available for the AEM fic in my Neon. Wot is easy to tune but partial throttle under boost is a flat out b*tch. Next time we ride together we gotta line em up. Getting my arse handed to me should make up my mind to get one lol.

how did you attach the strings that go over your roof?

I drilled a hole over the roll cage and let the string go straight down and tied it around the roll cage.

Give it a little dot of black RTV and you'll have nothing to worry about.
