Same here as you Joey......Seems like we are busting butt just to get back to where we were couple months ago. Got my vent lines and interior lights installed and I thought I was actually getting somewhere lol.

It's a rainy day today so after some eggs and bacon and I'll be hard at work in the shop. I don't have to travel for my job today so I should knock out a lot.

Well crap! I bought oem lower ball joints and CATVOS uses NOT OEM ball joints.

So now I got the lower arms on the bench and no parts to put it back on.

I may put them back in. They're not loose, just squeaky because the boots are torn.

The pioneer took another dump on my plans tonight. I've had a driver side front CV boot leaking grease for a while so I thought I'd fix that tonight since I don't have ball joints. I pulled the axle out but the inner CV stayed in! I'm calling it a night and back in the house. I can't afford another screw up that costs time. I've got tomorrow to put it back together and then back to Kentucky for work thru Saturday or Sunday.

If anyone has a good plan to remove the CV, I'm listening. I thought about removing the skid plate and prying but I'm afraid I'll bust the aluminum diff. I've got to attach my slid hammer some how and pull it.

I missed Joey chopping his cage! Crap! Looks great brother.

Thanks man, most credit goes to the pro that helped me. All I had to do was be his shop hand, beer assistant, and write a check. Having help from someone with those tools and skills made that a much cleaner job and quicker than I would have done alone.

And I'm over here with a harbor freight welder and a 13 year old sawzall. Lol. Great result regardless!

If your saw ever takes a dump on you, the Chicago Electric that they sell is a good one. I've cut several bumpers into with mine. A while back they had them on sale for 20 bucks.

Slide hammer with a funky attachment - maybe tie to a bearing or 3 jaw puller, pry bar against a frame member instead of diff or pull the other axle, if it all comes out, and punch it out through there. Might be able to get someone to pry on the backside and use a long punch on the front.

I guess the easiest thing to do would be to pull off the axle on the other side. Since I have the a arms off each side, that shouldn't be a problem unless it sticks inside as well.

Thanks for the idea. That's why I came in last night, I was too tired from staying up the night before and out in the shop too late and then went to work yesterday morning at 4:30. It was a good idea to start over today with a fresh mind and put it out there for everyone else to chime in.
