Here's a picture of the lower ball joint I'm replacing. The other one is not torn as bad but I'm still replacing both because I cannot stand the squeaking!

I also took the time to assemble two front axles today. When you buy them, they are missing the inner CV joint. So a while back I had purchased two front axles and two inner CV joints. I'll be prepared just in case something bad happens at the takeover. Also, now you guys know who to come to if you break an axle.

The front wheel bearings had a little bit of play in them, so I went ahead and replaced those.

The new Elka stage III shocks are in and will hopefully be adjusted for a ride height and tuned tomorrow.

It's all buttoned up and ready to roll. Now it's time to put the rest of the plastic back in and a few other small odds and ends.

Do u have a house keeper for your shop? Lol. Mine looks like a tornado hit it. Reminds me of a long time ago at my buddy's house, we were rebuilding a motor and had all the rod and main caps laid out in order. His mom decided to clean shop the next day and all the caps went into a bucket.... Motor lasted about 2 weeks.

Finally calling it a night! Maybe I can sleep till noon. I drive to Kentucky tomorrow evening and begin work at midnight.

Maybe I should just stay on night shift all they until the takeover. I'm sure we'll be out late.

Anyway, I drove Traveller around it it's so much better than it used to be as far as handling. Things changed are: removed over head gun rack, removed overhead storage bag, removed three reverse lights that were on the roof out back, lowered the roof 4.5, lowered suspension about 1.5", and moved tools, and other crap under the seat in ammo cans versus in a box in the bed. With all that combination, it handles a ton better. Probably not better than just a standard pioneer but much better than it used to be.

Curious to see what you think of these compared to the others you have tried. I have these on the front of my machine. Did you do front and rear?

I did get stage III for the rear also. I got these with 250 pounds springs in the front in 275 pounds springs in the rear. That's 25 pounds heavier per spring compared to the Walker Evans. The Walker Evans were very smooth riding but they were also a little too soft and the vehicle handled poorly when cornering.

I rode around for half an hour last night and really liked the heavier springs. It may be a little too soon for me to make a comparison but I will say that the Elka stage III will compare very good to the Walker Evans.

Farm rig needs these deluxe rims and tires I got. Only got bout 300 miles on this trailer queen.

The next set of tires for the white one will be BFG A/T or a DOT tire specifically for UTVs. That may be a while though.

Do you have you're wheels on the buy/sell pages here?
