Has anyone run a true 30" tire with just the High Lifter A Arms and if so are there any rubbing issues?

Good question, because I don't want to preload the springs.

It's funny that you say you don't want to preload the springs. I agree with you and have a pic to show what it does.

The pic below shows the pioneer on the right with no preload and it seems to flex better than the pioneer on the left that has the HL kit.

Does it hurt anything to use the HL kit? I don't think so. @Delton has more ground clearance than I do so that an advantage right there. I guess it's a give and take.

I'm leaning heavily towards trying out a set of the new Walker Evans Shocks to improve the suspension before I decide which tire I'm going to run. I want to get the full benefit of the adjustability without preload as well.

I haven't made my mind yet on the WE. I want to see some others come out and drive price down and see if there's a difference in them. I would really like to see Honda offer an upgrade, you think they would.

I would love to see the prices lower as well but judging by what it cost for aftermarket Ranger performance shocks I'm not very hopeful. I've got a set of High Lifter A Arms on the way and a set of HL lift in the box at home. Riding this weekend I ran into some folks that said they had seen some of the shock extender lifts bend under extreme riding. I'm not sure whether I want to put it on knowing I am most likely going to try to improve the rough ride through choppy trails or not. I'm personally looking for a versatile tire, probably 8ply, that's got stronger sidewalls, in as large a size as the forward A arms will allow.

Right there with you. I'm unlikely to lift mine, so stock arms with good shocks, and a true 28 will do nicely. Would love to run 30s but with my new S&S skids, I'd hate to have to get rid of em to run arched arms...

Why do you think you would have to remove the skids to run arched arms and 30's?

I'm running that combo with no problem.

Because the a arm guards won't bolt to the arched arms. I still have the factory main skid plate.

Oh! The A-arm guards. When I saw skids, I was thinking about the belly not the arms.

I gotcha now

Guy on Facebook runs 30" Mamba's with just the A-arms from HL. I have the CATVOS arms and they only net maybe 1" of lift and run 30's no problems.

Where can I find the info on the WE shocks? That will be my next upgrade for sure, didn't know they were actually out yet.

I ordered the Walker Evans shocks today. They're supposed to ship Monday and my high lifter arms have arrived. I'm going to install the shocks and arms first and see what kind of ride improvement there is before I decide on a stiffer 8 ply tire. More to come.
Did you get all four? What was the total cost?

High lifter arms and lift are on. WE shocks installed. Trying out a set of 30" muds lites on the stock wheels for now. Taking it out this weekend to play with the shock settings. I'll post an update and some better pictures after i put it through the paces.
