Used talon r

Good afternoon guys and gals,
Looking at getting a talon. I have found a used 2020 green talon r for private sale. The machine has 54 miles and 10 hours on it. Only mods are some 30” wheels and tires. asking 16,000 for it. I feel like it’s a fair shake but am just concerned about transmission issues (all I know is cut) along with all the electronics with the 4wd system. Can anyone offer any input.

My son bought a new 2020 for 18k out of state. No sales tax. Sounds fair on asking price. Do they have the original tires and wheels to go with it?

So I looked into krx and it’s 23k otd. I like them though!
No original wheels and tires to go with it so I am currently trying to get more off of it for that reason.
Does come with additional 4 years of additional warranty though

Mine is not an R model but I bought a used 2019 X with 65 miles on it and added Honda front windshield, rear windshield, lower door inserts, and Front bumper for $16,000.

Sounds like a deal to me especially with the extended warranty.

If it comes with the extended warranty I wouldn’t worry about the transmission. Just be sure to get the warranty transferred if you do purchase it.

Yea I have gotten that paperwork from rhe local dealer he got it from along with his original bill of sale from them. He said as soon as paperwork is done that he will transfer it for me

The guys recently have been running about 19k... I was in mine before COVID for 16,200. I’d say the 16k (if that’s the true out the door price) on the talon is a good buy. Everything is high right now and few options!

That’s a clean machine! 16k seems reasonable for that. Especially with a 4 year warranty.

There was a X model that went for 12k with a few more miles this last spring. Guy was desperate and times were tough. I bet the seller will get 16 for it

Well I went and picked it up today, tally was 51 miles and 10 hours on the machine. Got the warranty transfer done. Took it for a quick spin and it’s an animal! You can definitely feel it shift!
