I don’t have one that old but my father-in-law once had an old Mercury from the 70’s.
the oldest sled I have is a 99’ arctic cat. My others are mid 2000’s Skidoo’s.
Curious, where is Brown City? What state?

Chit! U ain’t far from me then. I’m in Stockbridge. Have a cabin in Joburg by Lewiston. Ride my sleds and SxS there often on trail #4 my main hub.

I was just in howell earlier today. I'm a delivery driver for a lumberyard.

I don't own one anymore, but often reminisce about the bad old days when all sleds were junk. Ride an hour, work on it for a day. LOL

We were a Homelite saw dealer, so naturally had a Homelite Forester II sled!
Lots of other junk too, but this was the most unusual. Hirth powered.

I used to be, a couple early 70's Cats & Sno-Jets that ran, several others that didn't. Sold them all off years ago. Just newer iron in the fleet now. All fuel injected 4 strokes, I got tired of working on them. I would buy a Manta if I could find one in decent shape, just cause they're fkn weird!

@ChadD have you been to the snowmobile museum in Naubinway, MI? It's not far from my house, they have some cool old iron there.

Was up there 2yrs ago. Missed it last year. Charlie is a good guy!

Had my 71' Bolens sprint up there for both rides. Awesome time

We had a couple Johnson JX440 snowmobiles growing up. And when those finally gave out we upgraded to John Deere Liquifire and Spitfire (that was a huge upgrade at the time).
