P500 Viper winch and size

Is anyone using a Viper winch and are you happy with it and what is the recommended minimum winch size, and I will get a KFI mount.
I am looking to buy a winch and I see that is what the club store sells.

I purchased the Viper Max 3500 from the Club Store. No issues.

I got the Viper Elite 6k widespool. Can't say a whole lot about it, only had used it once so far... But then again, it's got a 100% success rate! 😁
At the time, I didn't order through the club store (sorry, my bad), but went with the Viper because their warehouse is like 15 minutes away, and if I had to warranty it I wouldn't have to spend days/weeks waiting on turn around times.

I'll admit, a 6k winch for a 1k lbs machine is way overkill, but some of the guys I ride with have a tendency to get *really* stuck

I put a 4500 KFI on mine; never know what it may be needed for. Besides, the extra front end weight helps on the steep climbs! (in my mind, anyway...)

I went 4500 lbs with synthetic line (Super Winch Terra series) with KFI mount, in addition to KFI 66” blade set up. Works top drawer. Don’t think there is a big difference in size, weight or cost between between 35 and 45...

3500 here. Consider the weakest point of the mounting. A small pulley stays in my box just in case.

Finally bought a winch went with a Superwinch LT 4000 SR and ordered a EFI mount.

When I did research back in 2014 the Super Winch Terra series 4500 used less amperage then the 3500 series (and other brands), had better internals and is waterproof compared to other brands. At the time I went with the 3500 and used it extensively for 3 year or more until it sounded louder on powering out line. Didn’t wanna mess with it (as I was using machine for work), so I bought a 4500 Terra series and it’s been awesome. Have kept the 3500 and when I get time gonna have a closer look at it.

I went with a 3500 Axon, and haven't had to use it yet. Looks good on a red 520 tho!

Viper Max 3500 here with synthetic rope, in retrospect I wish I went with same model wides spool. Other than used it few times, working flawlessly on KFI mount. 👍

4500 Axon on 2in.Receiver - use Ft. or Rear.
With : Booster-Pac -strap to a tree - pull from the tree.
