I am planning on sending my shocks off to G Force https://gforceracingtechnologies.com/ in January for my Talon X 4 seat. Any suggestions of what to have done, not done, setup suggestions. I am planning on new caps, revalving, and coil springs. Possibly add more a adjustability. Pretty pricey at around 2k, so I want to have done right the first time. Typically ride TN trails slow to medium speed. I just want it as comfortable as possible on my wife and I's back. @Hometeam, I believe this is where you sent yours?

Gary does good work, you won't be disappointed!

If you can swing it have him add dual speed compression adjusters to your shocks. Being able to tune both ranges to your liking makes a world of difference in ride comfort and handling.

With the X shocks, you only get to adjust the compression, not the rebound. You are stuck with only controlling half of the shock’s action. That’s why I went with the Elka stage 5, so I could control both the compression and the rebound. I hear guys swear how good their shocks are working after they spend big money to get them re valved. But in reality, they just don’t want to admit that they wasted their money to get shocks that may act differently on compression, but still have no control over how fast they rebound. Good luck!

You will get the high and low speed compression adjustors. I really like mine on my Talon R.

Yes I had G-Force do my X and will be having Gary do my RLV also. It has been awesome. I did the full high/low compression adjusters also. They are an upgrade themselves. I told Gary weight, type of trails, speed of trails, my driving style, etc. and let him do the rest! I am really happy and that's not to justify my purchase....it soaks up the chop and banks hard in the corners still!!

GM really likes the GForce setup on the race car. Gary even shortened the stroke to make the X front suspension work for XC racing.

Last race I was at there was a guy there with a Talon R who modified the front and rear suspension arms to keep the R width but shorten the wheelbase to X length. It was a slick setup and appeared to work very well.

Wish I would have taken a picture...

We left the rear stock (RaceCo radius rods, Jsport upper arms) and swapped the entire front over to an X (RaceCo arms, tierods, and rack).

Modified all 4 shocks to adjust for X suspension travel.

Used 0 offset wheels, no spacers in rear

Help tremendously in tight woods
