I think that would be my biggest hurdle as far as space/location. Besides that, I have the wife sold on this idea instead of a dealer bought toy hauler.
This is the one I used. A bit pricey but worth it. Honestly you hardly knew you were using a porta-pot.

I got as much as I could out of it. I was going to line the bottom with some 1/4 plastic but decided just to paint and keep the 2” of extra head space and return the $240 worth of plastic sheets the 6” memory foam mattresses aren’t compressing as much as I thought they would, so I’m glad it decided on the painting the frames

You could also use some inflatable mattresses. I do this in my camper / ice house as they can fold up nice and neat when not in use.

Taller and it has the elongated seat. Much like those in a home. You don't feel like you're trying to s*** in a thimble. I've used a number of them in different boats I've had and that one is definitely the best. If it weren't for the old lady I may have never bought one but she wasn't keen on going to the bathhouse/restroom in the middle of the night.

I was so looking forward to seeing your trailer / project t the 20 TO. That's what I want to do!
JTW has done an awesome job. My was pretty basic but worked well for me and the wife. I had about $3700 total in it and sold it for $3400 I think. The bed setup in about 5minutes after pulling the buggy out.
