P1000m5 What did you add to/do with your Pioneer 1000 5 today?

What pressure are you running your inlaws? I got a set mounted today but haven’t had time to put them on my rig yet.

My pressure gauge only reads down to 20 psi so I keep them inflated to the point that the lugs lay flat from edge to edge, which is probably around the recommended 8 psi.

If you start to get higher in pressure, the edges of the lugs start to raise up off the ground

Spent the morning troubleshooting the code 12 that has been shutting my P1k5 down frequently. Found the problem in the last 3” of the conector going to the front injector. Problem on the green/black wire going to the PCM ground. Hope the pigtails from the club store get here in time for Friday’s ride. Also replaced the air cleaner element. It’s kind of a PITA to get at, but the system works. The filter itself was filthy but the engine side was clean as can be.

I bought 2 of those when I bought my 1000-5 just to have on hand.

Sounds like they should equip every 1000-3/5 with some extras along with instructions. Is it only the 1000’s having this problem or do the Talons have the same issue? I haven’t read about other models having the problem.

If you used them for turn signals oncoming traffic wouldn’t have any trouble seeing your intention.

That's what got me thinking rock lights, bigger/ brighter. More to come when I get them aimed and wired. Hope they're dual purpose.

Ummm...don't forget to peel off the protective tape over the light when you install...I re wired the right rear light then discovered I forgot to take the tape off..

XL Mudbusters put on yesterday... pretty happy with them. The molds could have been just a hair tighter in some corners but they worked great yesterday evening, gravel and dirt/mud.
