I bought this little Pioneer Monday and worked it today. I love it.

Great, just when I thought I was done throwing money at this thing for the season…🤑 I’m glad the aftermarket is heating up for this machine though.
Update: the Hondaboats headlights arrived 3 days after I ordered them. They look high quality to me but I’ll save my praise for once I have them installed and can hopefully see things at night.

That was honestly one of the most straightforward and rewarding mods I have done to my P52. Swapping these Hondaboats headlights in for the stock units takes only the most basic of mechanical skills. 30-60 mins is all it should take from beginning to end if you watch the guide by Appalachian. The new lights are many times brighter than the stock units, as you may expect. My only concern is how exposed and vulnerable the back of the LED headlights are to being hit by rocks and debris being flung by the tires. Only time can tell on the durability of these Hondaboats units but so far I am very pleased with the product. P.S. Sorry, no outdoor comparison pics. 😕

Do you think they're too bright? Not vision wise but would they blind oncoming traffic?

I think we all know how obnoxious light bars are for oncoming traffic. With that said, I feel like there is a certain angle where the glare reduces considerably. It just comes down to adjustment at that point. How much do you value range of light over on-comers comfort. I’d say just adjust them extra low until you actually need them at night and then adjust for that rare occasion.

That's what I thought. I use mine as running lights when on the trail, in fact it's the law. Have plenty of other lights for night riding. Too bad, they look cool as hell but I'll have to pass due to them being too bright.

Too bad you couldn't modify the stock headlight bucket and utilize it? Although, without a lens on the front they'd probably just accumulate crap that wouldn't have a way to clear out. 🤔
