Looking good. After I messed around under mine today I had already decided that skid plates would be in my future. Couldn't believe plastic is under this thing. Plastic rattled a bunch when tapped on too.

Did you have to do any mods or was it a perfect fit?

The skids fit perfect. You have to drill into the side bars with self tappers but everything else uses stock mounting holes. They are UHMW. It’s better than steel. Under the 7hundo you have to slide the door underneath to get to the drain plug. My stock steel skid was bent into the engine and I couldn’t push that door over. 😉
The shiny spot on the skid is the engine polishing it.

Y'all remember I'm not mechanically inclined at all, but I added a rear work light today. Put a front bar on a few months back and was proud enuf of myself that I tackled the rear light too 🤣.

Took me friggin forever! Probably should have given someone $20 while I drank beer and cheered them on, but it's done.

Haven't aimed it yet, but it will be perfect for backing up, loading deer and about anything else needed.

I've spoke on cam timing changes on the 700 before. I was actually unaware of this until someone posted a FSM page and caught the edge of this page.

Cam

I haven't done any hot rodding theory in a while, but i believe advancing the cam timing helps bottom end? Someone refresh my memory?
If so, was this Honda trying to address the power issues at high elevations, or was it purely emissions?

Tusk Trilobite, 26x10 rear, 26x9 fronts. I didn't want to "over tire" this thing.

Heights at 9PSI was 26 3/8" rear, and about 26 1/4 front with just the weight of the tire (matching my previous experience with these), so despite some claims, they run pretty true to size. I'm probably going to run about 7psi from what I was seeing during the mounting. This is my second set of these, the previous being on the 500. They did pretty well on it.

1283 miles.

Those don't look like terrabytes to me.
Wrong pic?

I've been looking to add an aux battery on my 700. let me know where you install the battery. I have set up the isolator, second fuse panel, Side mirrors with bright flood and spot lights built in, radio with rear speakers mounted on the roll bar, rear light, rocker switch plate. having a blast with my first sxs.
I built a battery rack and installed it under the drivers Seat, mounted isolator under the Hood.

Busy week:
Monday-tires you saw above.

Tuesday-oil change and valve check. "Fixed" seatbelt warning limiter. I've been running Supertech ATV 10-30 synthetic since new, but the supply is inconsistent. Going to go to T6 5-40 again. Be curious to note if I can tell any differences.

Last night I packed cooler and buffed the 1/2 shield some.
