P1000 What did your "20 hour first service" cost at the dealer?

Interested in what your "20 hour first service" set you back on your P1000. Its quoted at around $360.00 at my honda dealer in Deep East Texas. I will have the first one done at the dealer just to be safe but at that price I will be learning to do my own in the future.

I had them check the valve adjustment only, $ 250.00. I did the rest. The manual says the valves will need adjusting again only if they get noisy.

did they just look at them or did they need to be adjusted?

They didn't say, I did it for warranty, probably nothing.

When I bought mine I asked if they did the valve adjustment on the first service and was told they could. I didn't ask a price though.

Why would the oil in the differentials need to be changed unless it had water in it? Even 3/4 and 1 ton trucks that get worked go tens of thousands of miles and don't require or need it.

I'll do my own service when the time comes, just keep all the receipts.

The 20 hour dosen't call for it, but I did mine just to check the oil, all clear.
