Rough country X5’s!!! They’re impressive!

I finally gave in and ordered a pair of X5s today. They should be twice as bright as my Quadboss 3.5s. I'll probably repurpose those too

@JTW wasn't kidding. These x5 lights are awesome. Swapping out the Quadboss 3.5" lights which are 860 lumens each for the x5s at 2250 each!

I really like my X5's and my rough country light bars.

I have also heard good things about GG lighting. They are very comparable to rough country price and quality. I've heard maybe a bit better but dont have any first hand experience.

I just purchased a Rough Country 12" bar today from thier site. Looks like they are discontinuing the 5x line. I didn't see any 5x pods. They have deep discounts on what's left. Just a heads up.

I noticed that the other day, their newer Black series had higher Lumen outputs than the X5s anyway so it’s a smaller light with higher output for less draw.

Interesting. I hadn't noticed that. I am running GG sidewinder pods now and I am happy with them. I just purchased the 12" black series. I really hope I am happy with it.

I got mine in a pinch because I knew I was going to do some night riding but I actually really liked them. I bought Harbor Freight Spot lights for the front on PBR brackets. I liked them so much I got two floods for the rear. Normally $28, can find them on sale for $20 and they offer a harness which I got but will replace soon when I do dual battery setup. Both around 1k lumens. Sort of match my headlights. Quality is very good.
