I'm close to getting my custom switch panel done.

My panel is going to be LED backlit, each switch will say what it is on the panel, not on the switch.

When I had him do the panel for my Viking, I couldn't come up with labels for all the switches, so 3 of 'em were "Aux". I don't want to do that this time.

Above the switches will be a pair of volt gauges, (one for each batt), the winch receptacle, and a RAM mount.

Here are the switches I've named so far;

*Front lights
*Rear lights
*Side lights
*Winch in/out
*fan (for the underseat fan)
*USB (dual USB "switch")

I have room for one more switch. What should it be? What do you think I'll need it for???

Open to any ideas..

Depends of other accessories that you might plan.. I have learned you cant have too many spots as you will fill them up over time..

Rock lights
Led Whips
Stereo
Inside light/ dome light
Winch Power (If you have kids and a winch in/out switch you probably need)

Rock lights are covered with "side lights"
I don't see myself getting an LED whip..
I have the winch power button already

don't stereo's usually have their own power button?
Interior/dome light is a good possibility..

Any other ideas?

I just don't want him to finish this panel and a month later I say "crap! I'm gonna add ________ and I need a switch for that! Why did I waste it on the dam interior light??

yaknowwhatimean?

What else could I add to this machine that would require a switch??

I have dome light, front, rear, side, fan, winch.

My accessories are all run off a solenoid that is controlled with an illuminated red master switch. You will want to sort out if you plan to use a master switch or a ignition wire to operate the solenoid.

I got the idea from @Ragnar406 he uses a red push button switch. I like the master switch because it allows me to still use my radios and lights and not have to run the hour meter on the machine.

Device lites are only on when the headlite switch is on.
That shot helps a lot man.. I'm running 3 on the bottom, and 4 in the middle. Now I can see how they fit. Looks good!

On my Vike I wired the panel to an ignition-on wire. I think I'll do the same with this one.

Like I said above, I think I'll hook it up the same way I did the Viking, with an ignition wire. I might change it down the road if I get tunes though...

I kinda like the idea of an underdash light instead of an overhead one....

I still think the obvious choice for the last switch is interior light.
Cock pit is dome it's white under dash is blue
