Lately a person came and looked at P500 with the intent to buy it. Well, that person said that it had too many miles on it for what I was asking. I told him it was a 2015 and it had 4100 miles on it. And he said "wow, that's alot of miles" . When I bought the P500 the dealership told me that 600 mile a year was the norm. What do you guy think ?

🤔......I don't think anyone can put a "norm" on atv/utv millage. That being said, I've seen then less then a year old with a cpl thousand miles and 6 years old with just a few hundred miles. You have a 7 year old machine with just over 4K miles, IMO that's pretty low miles for my standards. I wouldn't pay no mind to that "buyer"......my 2 cents

Good luck on the sale 👍

PS. If you're selling it and haven't done so, try posting it here on the buy/sell section 👍

^^^^^What he said. My P1K is 6 years old and has less than 600 miles on it. It would depend on the severity of the miles, but being an outsider (buyer), there is no way he would know how easy the mileage was.

Case in point: Last year when I got my P520, I sold my garage-kept 2005 Rancher with 600 miles on it. Probably 150 of those miles were plowing snow. It was in great shape and well maintained, but the mileage can be deceiving based on use. I was open about everything and person who bought it gladly paid the asking price (which was well over half of what I paid for it new in 2005).

🤔......that's about 2 seats too small for ya Prez. I'd keep it at $69 flat....
I didn’t want to cheat a fella on his low mile machine. I have a trailer the kids can ride in. 🤫don’t tell JFS.

Out of curiosity do you have it listed on the forum? How much do you want for it?

that's nothing for a modern fuel injected machine. If you live in a western state and ride a fair amount, you'll rack up way more miles than that. We're in the process of moving west the end of this year (fingers crossed). If my new Talon couldn't make it to 20k without major engine issues it might be the last Honda that I'd buy. I'm super picky about air filter and oil changes and use only the Honda synthetic.
