I am in need of 2 1" wheels spacers for the rear of my rig after I mount the Arched rear A-arms while running stock wheels, I know the bolt pattern is 4x137 and 12mm lugs, but what is the thread count on the lugs? Just want to make sure I order everything I need so I wont be stranded once the A-arms come in.

Thanks guys.

The stock thread count is 1.5. I could not find spacers with those specifications.

I bought spacers for a Kawasaki teryx. They are 4x137 and 12mm studs with 1.25 thread pitch. I got new lugs with 60° taper for the new wheels which are also 1.25 pitch. I am still looking for some Lugnuts with a ball seat and 12 mm x 1.25 to fit the stock wheel.

The other option is to change out the studs on the spacer, I have not looked into that yet.

Will flat or tapered lug nuts not work with the factory wheels at all? I dont see any options for a "ball seat" lug nut

At some point I'm going to check into changing out the studs and see if that is a possibility. In the meantime, I will continue to search for the right type of Lugnuts

They need to be "ball seat" lug nuts. If you try using a different style lug nut, you run a high-risk of them coming loose.

Interesting, after pulling the one of the stock ones off, they seem like just a normal taper design. I am sure you could get different studs pressed in, but that seems like a lot of hassle.

I found these Lugnuts at Summit racing. They are the right diameter and the right seat but the thread pitch is wrong.

I am not sure if I would want to use these adapters or not. But I found this interesting.

These might be a viable option, not much different than a washer I guess. Would be better than just running normal 60 degree nuts alone

You mean Radius instead of Taper type of nut base, that's how several of the aftermarket companies name the two different types.

I am just going off of that information found on Summit racing website. I am sure that there are different types of terminology used to explain the same thing. That is why I have made an attempt to attach pictures to actually show the difference of the two different styles as to not confuse anyone. Especially with this being a safety issue.

I would think no matter the thread pitch of the bolts on the spacers you can simply order the appropriate nuts to fit. the 12MM lug nuts are offered in all 4 styles both radius and taper with either 1.25 or 1.5 mm pitch threads. just put the correct thread pitch / seat nut on the correct studs, problem solved.

12mm x 1.50: Gorilla 38038 Chrome Lug Nuts Ball/Radius Seat, Open End 3/4" Hex Head 12mm x 1.50 Thread

Just ordered mine, but they do not have any radius/ball seat lug nuts for the 12mm-1.25 lug size, which is what I need to attach the wheel the spacers I ordered. I got acorn-seat for both, and a set of washers for the wheels.

The links you posted Jackal are backwards, you need the ball/radius lug nuts for 12mmx1.25 studs on the spacers, and normal acorn style nuts to hold the spacer to the factory 12mm-1.5 lugs.

These guys built me some wheel adapter so I could convert my shortbox f350 into a dually and then add American force 10 stud wheel adapters. I bet they can make anything a guy needs.

They're local guys to me, I had them build me some custom wheel adapters for my jeep and they make quality parts. I know they are pretty busy a lot of the time and not always the best at answering the phone but I know their work is top notch.

I need a hand locating these ball seat lug nuts in 12mm 1.25 pitch.

I followed the link but haven't found them.

Thanks

I just ordered the adapter washers for now.

I'll start looking at replacing the studs in the spacer soon. That should be to do if I can find the proper size.
