Where do you ride in Louisiana?

I'm planning on visiting mom in south central Louisiana for thanksgiving and was hoping to find somewhere to ride down there. She's in New Iberia but, I'm looking for anywhere in the state to make the trip more enjoyable. Also, are there any permits, rules and regs for trail riding. Street legal? Thanks. I'll be bringing back some 50 lbs of crawfish boudin and some sugar! Gonna go metal detecting too! My cousins own a few Sugar Cane Mills down there. Enterprise, Raceland and Sterling Mills.

@100Acre hit me up when you get into New Iberia. We can plan a day ride out in Kisatchie National forest; lot of good trails and some really cool history around Camp Claiborne and that area.

Are you bringing the P1k or the P5? There are some fun trails we can do in the P1k, but the Claiborne area is better suited to a 50" machine. I've got my Foreman Rubicon if you want to bring the P5 if it makes any difference. We'll ride either way.
