P1000 Which is quieter - 1000 or 700?

Going to be buying a pioneer soon and interested to hear which Is quieter - a 700 or 1000 (will be a 4 seater in the end). I am assuming a lot of you guys here use to own 700’s so I would love to hear your opinions.

The 1000 is quieter especially at speed. We loved our 700 though, good machine

I've only owned the 1K and its pretty quiet. My opinion this wouldn't be the deciding factor though. Drive train, comfort, and overall what your intended use will be would probably point you in a better direction then the "noise" the machine may or may not make. Just my 2 cents
But @Russ989 can guide you better, he's owned all 3, and about to get a new KRX I hear 😉

I agree with CP, the 1000 isn’t as loud but you can’t go wrong with either. The 700 tranny is a tank!

Why do you ask? Just a sensitivity thing or maybe hunting? Haven't been around a 1000 enough to compare but here's some ideas.......

Ear buds/plugs
Ear muffs
Helmets muffle some sound
Combine the two.
They sell those aftermarket hunting exhaust silencers

I've never been a big fan of wind in my ears so I usually employ some type of hearing protection.

The 1000 is quieter. I have the 1000 and had a 700.

Same as everyone above, the 1000 is quieter. The extra gears allow for lower engine rpms with the 1000. I really enjoyed our 700, but I really love the 1000.

My 1000 is quieter than my uncles 700. I've had a couple of passengers ask my how far it goes on a charge lol.
