P1000 Whipped a RZR 1000

Dragged a RZR 1000-4 Highlifter edition today and beat it out of the hole and he never caught me. Short race to about 40. We did it a few times (he thought it was a fluke). Granted he was on some weird Baja tires and I was on the bighorns and both in 2wd (I did use rear diff lock) on dirt. I'll post the video up when I figure out how. The Honda launched HARD in sport mode, lot of surprised people in the crowd for sure!

Its fun to break thru that stereotype. We had some family over this weekend.
The father was explaining to his daughter that my P1K was sort of like a Rzr they rode before but the honda is not really for offroad - "it more like a comfortable jeep". LOL - I didn't say anything.
Next morning we went for a ride and they came back all excited - "that thing is amazing - it'll go anywhere"

I raced a wildcat sport 700 and took it to 40 he caught up and pulled a couple feet ahead to 60 then we stayed the even on out. I was surprised. So was he

Well done! On pavement it may have been a different story but on the dirt is where these things belong. Thanks for the video.

I know the P1000 isn't a true sport and can't keep up with a RZR 1000 in most conditions but this vid proves that the pioneer is one hell of a UTV. I know you were proud

I like the fact that you left your cooler in to race him.. Don't be surprised if you see the owner of that Rzr 1000-4 driving a P1K5 the next you come across them.
My buddy runs a Rzr 900-4 and I Whip him every chance I get!
