The ready fit superATV winch works but you might as well throw all of the bolts away that come with it. The stock bolts are long enough to mount the plate. The other 2 bolts didn’t have the same thread pitch as the nuts so I bought new ones. The plastic grille over the radiator doesn’t quite fit over the brain box of the winch. I forced mine to fit….the plastic mat eventually crack in that grille. I guess time will tell. Overall works great, wireless remote is cool.

I definitely wouldn't buy a winch from a club store! These machines are heavy and large the only thing standing between you and getting out of a situation is a good winch sometimes.. I would get a Warn or Viper (previous person said that too). They might all look the same but it's about the quality of the electrical components that can determine whether your machine battery gets fried or not during the pull

Our club store sells quality stuff! Gotta love ppl that talk out their azz and not know what’s what!

The gusset plate portion is actually what comes with the P1000 Ready fit kit with the SATV winch. as you can see the plastic grille is flexed up a little bit above it….I forced it back in. Working for now….

I got the Viper V2 6000# winch ready to go on mine, but I did get the superatv winch mount like Maje1 Above. Just haven't had time to put it on. But it is finally on the hoist and the bumper is off.

I got the winch mounted. But I don't like the way the cable is run through. It will rub on the brace rod on the outside of the drum on it's way out.

Has anyone else had that problem? This is the Viper V2 6000# winch mounted using the superatv winch bracket. I'll grab a picture tomorrow.

Did you try mounting the winch Upside down? I have the viper mount (not the SATV) and mounted it with the motor on the passenger side.

I mounted it with the motor on the driver side, because I read it needed the rope going over the drum for the high exit on the pioneer. Which made sense, and I was in a hurry when I put it on, and didn't realize the rub until later when I walked by. I thought about flipping the motor to the passenger side, but then the rope would be going up a steep angle before going out of the fairhead. However it would be rubbing on the smooth fairhead instead of the sharp corner of the drum brace. That would probably be better even with the angle.

I flipped it around. Had to adjust the mount, but it shouldn't rub on anything that can hurt it now. Drum isn't centered on the fairhead, but that shouldn't matter much.
