Winch mount question

Hello, I'm Veetee11

I’ve heard about the bad angle associated with KFI winch mounts. Can someone please advise which mount I need to use with Badlands 5k that mounts easily and don’t have bad angle? Thanks!

Welcome to the forum there is a lot of good information and people on here.

The angle isn't limited to the KID mount, but all mounts in OEM location seen to pull hard against the roller. Unless you intend to run a snowplow with that winch, thereby going up and down over the same 6" section of winch line, you should be fine.

I think I read recently that the Badlands winch would not bolt to the KFI mount without some drilling or modification.
