I'm not sure how well this works, but it's worth a try.

Got Yellow Jackets and Wasps???

Remember this during pool season - Fill a container with vinegar, sugar and salt to trap wasps...
1/4 cup vinegar, 1/2 cup warm water, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon of salt

For wasps, put gas (unleaded, no need for non ethanol) in a garden sprayer.
Old or stale gas from last year works just fine.
The gas has to make contact with the wasp.
They fall to the ground dead, it's quite amazing.

Note: this method dose not mix well with alcohol (as in beer) or smoking.
It's right up there with injecting Lysol, I'm sure if the president recommended it CNN would carry on about it for weeks.
But it works way better than Tide pods taste, trust me.

One year we had an infestation of ground hornets, I watched them and found out where there nests were in the ground, put a Moth ball in the hole and we haven't had any since.
