No. Factory wheels have different offsets and width front to rear.
Fronts are close to 4.5/1.5
Rears are close to 5/2.5
Those numbers aren't exact, but close enough to get the idea.

These would keep the rear track width about the same and bump the front out a touch wider by an inch or two.

No.
The reason putting these on the front would increase the track width is because they are slightly more offset, not due to rim width. They are about the same total width as the stock fronts at 6.5".
